大屏双摄头 LG推3.5G电视手机新品SH150A 使用主动式2.2英寸AM OELD

 

日前,LG公司推出一款滑盖新品SH150A,这款手机与LG之前发布的KF600有些相像。

LG SH150A采用了一块2.2英寸26万色QVGA显示屏,配备了一颗前置的30万像素摄像头和一颗200万像素的主摄像头,支持DMB-TV移动电视协议,支持7.2Mbps HSDPA网络。当然,SH150A还包容了电子辞典、存储扩展以及USB连接等常规功能。

据悉,这款LG SH150A上市售价为40万韩元(折合人民币约3000元),届时将有黑银色和青银色供消费者选择。

韩国消息:由于传统的LCD和PDP屏的利润下降,Samsung SDI 和 LG.Philips LCD计划在今年秋季大规模的生产新一代AM OLED电视屏。 AMOLED(主动矩阵有机光二极管)是一种利用轻量有机化合物发光的薄膜, 它不需要背光灯管的功能,当AM OLED大规模量产后比LCD和PDP更具效率和成本效益。. OLED, paper-like display markets to top $10.2 billion
GLEN ALLEN, VA -OLEDs and paper-like display technology are rapidly leading to new opportunities in the display industry according to a new report from NanoMarkets. The report, “Next-Generation OLED and Paper- Like Displays: A Technology and Market Roadmap,” predicts that combined sales of OLED displays and paper-like displays will reach $10.2 billion by 2011 and then go on to reach $14.7 billion by 2013.
The report examines the market opportunities stemming from the latest generation of OLED and paper-like solutions in a variety of applications, including advertising and shelf-edge displays, billboards, flat-screen televisions, desktop and notebook computers, book and newspaper readers, mobile phones, PDAs, MP3 players, and disposable electronics. It also covers a variety of critical new display technologies including small molecule OLEDs, polymer OLEDs, electrophoretics, cholesteric liquid crystal, electrochromics and toner-based displays. Some of the companies discussed in the report are Aveso, Bayer, Cabot, CDT, Ciba, Dow Chemical, Dow Corning, DuPont Teijin, E-Ink, GE, Hitachi, Kent Display, Kodak, LG , Merck, Mitsui, National Starch, Nemoptic, Nterra, Philips, Plastic Logic, Samsung, Seiko Epson, Sharp, Sony, Sumitomo, SiPix, Universal Display, and Xerox.

Specific findings from the report include:
-Low-cost manufacturability: OLED displays and paper-like displays can both be created on flexible substrates such as plastic or foil. This means roll-to-roll production processes for display production are increasingly viable making the manufacturing process much more efficient. At the same time, advances in both inks and equipment are enabling OLED displays to be printed, significantly reducing the capital costs associated with display manufacturing. Both of these factors will drive down the total cost of displays, a key element for this market's growth prospects.
-New display technologies to transform signage: Paper-like displays are the first technology that offers the visual clarity, cost points and networking capabilities to enable retailers to continuously update product information. This capability is one of the main reasons that shelf-edge displays will be the biggest opportunity for the paper-like display business in the next few years, generating $1.2 billion in annual revenues by 2011.
-OLEDs on TV: OLED technology will soon have color quality and resolution required for the television market. OLED televisions will reach $2.2 billion in revenues in 2011 and will take a slice out of the LCD television business.
-Flexibility, clarity, and mobility: Flexible substrates make it possible to expand the potential of mobile computing. New forms of flexible displays are also increasing the utility of mobile phones, PDA's and other consumer electronic devices. NanoMarkets predicts that by 2011, flexible displays will account for $1.7 billion in revenues.

LG 电子OLED供货量取得第一
   【美国EE Times网站2006年8月7日讯】韩国显示器研究机构DisplayBank报告中显示,2006年第二季度,LG电子的OLED面板供货量超过三星SDI,排第一位。2006年4月-6月,韩国OLED市场共出货447万片,占据全球市场份额的23.2%。LG预计,强劲的季度性需求,今年将保持OLED供货量第一,OLED月产能整个季度都超过180万片。
   LG希望将OLED业务部门出售给其与飞利浦合资成立的LG.Philips LCD Co. Ltd,如果交易成功的话,目前主要生产主动矩阵OLED显示器的LG. Philips LCD将在第四季度大规模量产主动矩阵OLED显示器。

燃料电池加OLED屏 LG创意概念笔记本
